A DRAGON'S SPARK
Hi everyone! I'm Melissa and I’m the owner and advanced practice provider for A Dragon’s Spark. I’ve been a nurse for over 22 years and a nurse practitioner for 17 years. I’m certified in both Family and Emergency Medicine. I’ve worked for the last 6 years in a busy downtown emergency room full time. Prior to that, I worked for 10 years in an ENT/allergy clinic. My passion has always been to help people – from 4H and Girl Scouts to nursing to teaching to family. A Dragon’s Spark has been my dream for many years – a place to help people, to spend time with them, hear about their challenges, and partner with them on the journey back to wellness. Bodies don’t exist as just joints or brains or lungs or skin. We have minds, hearts, and souls. You have to look at the whole being and the elements that link all those marvelous parts. It all starts at the core – what we put in is what we can get out. Put better ingredients in and watch the system roar to life.

My name is Melissa Rotella and I’m the owner and advanced practice provider for A Dragon’s Spark. I’ve been a nurse for over 22 years, and a nurse practitioner for 17 years. I’m double boarded in both Family and Emergency Medicine. I’ve worked for the last 6 years in a busy downtown emergency room full time. Prior to that, I worked for 10 years in an allergy clinic where I created customized treatment programs for patients from all walks of life. My passion has ALWAYS been to help people - from a young age with 4H and Girl Scouts, then to nursing and teaching, and forever to my family.
