Q: How do I schedule an appointment?
A: In order to book an appointment you’ll need to have a discover call first. Call or text (470) 615-9709 to schedule a discovery call to talk about your needs and goals. Once you’ve completed your discovery call, you’ll be able to book appointments with your provider.
Q: Do you treat kids and adults?
A: We welcome patient 5 years of age or older.
Q: Do you accept my insurance?
A: Our practice does not take insurance.
Our membership packages ensure that you never have to worry about surprise bills, co-pays every appointment, or overhead and administrative costs.
However, we can give you an invoice with the information you need to submit for reimbursement yourself; that works well with HSA/FSA accounts
Q: Is my membership with A Dragon's Spark considered health insurance?
A: Direct Primary Care is NOT health insurance. It covers your regular/routine provider visits. It does not cover: major emergencies, surgeries, or visits to specialized providers. Because of this, people who use DPC usually keep a basic or high-deductible insurance plan to protect them from big hospital bills.
– Hospital Stays: It does not pay for emergency rooms or surgeries.
– Specialists: It does not cover visits to special providers like orthopedics, cardiology, or endocrinology.
– Major Emergencies: most members still need a separate health insurance plan to protect them from big hospital bills and in the event of an emergency.
Q: What does my membership with A Dragon's Spark include?
A: Direct, dedicated, and distraction free time with your provider. Your appointment time is YOURS – whether you have 1 thing or 5 to discuss. We spend the entire visit on YOU. We also understand that communication is critical. Have a question or concern that comes up after your appointment? We can absolutely talk about it – if we need more time, we can schedule another appointment. Direct Primary Care practices also take into account that packing in as many patients as possible OFTEN results in people not getting appointments for weeks, even when they really need it. Subscriptions allow us to keep better eye on the total picture – it allows us to ensure we have the time and resources to maintain a solid partnership with each of our patients. If we can’t provide the care, attention, and services you need, we’ll tell you and help you find someone that can. It also means that when we say we’re glad to have you and create a treatment plan for YOU, you can trust that we’ll fulfill that promise.
Q: How are treatment plans customized for individual needs?
A: We meet you where you are! Your needs are as unique as you are and you deserve a Primary Care Provider who has dedicated their time and attention to you.
Q: What types of medical services does A Dragon's Spark offer?
A: Routine care, regular office visits and “simple” urgent care (like colds/cough, migraines, sprains/strains, etc). We can order labs and draw blood on premises
Q: Can I receive care for chronic conditions?
A: Yes. Hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, routine screenings and health maintenance.
